<para>
<makebold>Cellularity: the state of having cells.</makebold>This describes perfectly our new solid-state computer system which is currently undergoing development. It is modular in design and made from cells, or small embedded computer modules, clustered together to form powerful, but silent, networks.</para>
<para>Cellularity, a social enterprise company, prides itself on its open source implementations. Most of the software we use is open source and we like to share our knowledge through training and consultancy. Indeed, this simple website was produced using the open source W3C Amaya package, and it is hosted on a Linux web server.</para>
<para>This website is particularly aimed at those of you who are currently using Microsoft, and other proprietary products, but are thinking about moving towards an open source solution with all the benefits that this brings.</para>
<para>For those of you who have had a hard day trawling the web why not visit our multimedia page where you can download a one minute streaming video clip of “The Simpsons”
<smallfont>© Fox</smallfont>, and an open source media player on which to view it. This is a good demonstration of open source software at work.</para>
